Some wumps were similar to Mug and some of the other wumps were not similar to Mug. Mug's shape was made out of small lines when other wumps were made out of big lines. Mug had a different shape and a different apperence then some of the other wumps.
1. How did you decide which characters were similar to Mug Wump?
I looked at the basic shape of the wumps and looked at how close they resemble Mug and I looked at how big and how small they are.
2. What types of rules produced figures similar to Mug Wump? What types of rules did not? Explain your answers.
The rule for producing a figure similar to Mug would be smaller lines because Mug is small so using big lines would make a figure not similar to Mug. Big lines would not work for Mug because Mug's design is based on small lines.
3. If two figures are similar, describe the relationships between their
I had difficulty trying to get two shapes on because no one in my house could follow the directins. We made two squares on a word document but could not bring them into the Wikispace.
a. general shape Their shapes look the same in physical description. The sqaures were two different sizes. One big and one smaller. They had the same angles and were similar

|| ||
b. angle measures All of the angles were the same at 90 degrees
c. side lengths Within each square the sides were the same: the big one looked like it was 4 cm by 4 cm and the little one was 2 cm by 2 cm
Because I could not post the two squares, I will bring them to show to you. Maybe you can tell me how to paste them because the directions from class did not work at home.
